Love Care is a Malaysian elderly home care platform. We connect families with verified freelance caregivers, registered nurses and therapists who provide care in your own home. We handle matching, scheduling, payments and live support, so you can focus on your loved one.
For most requests in the Klang Valley we share suitable caregiver profiles within 24 hours, and often on the same day. If your parent is being discharged tomorrow, WhatsApp us directly and a coordinator will prioritise your request.
Every caregiver passes a MyKad identity check, a reference check with at least two past employers or families, and an interview with our team. We verify training certificates, and registered nurses must hold a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC). Families rate every completed case, and those ratings decide who gets recurring cases.
Yes. Recurring care plans are at the heart of Love Care. Once you are happy with a caregiver, we lock in a regular weekly schedule so your parent sees a familiar face. If your caregiver takes leave, we arrange a briefed replacement.
Our care coordinators are available on WhatsApp and phone from 7:00am – 11:00pm, 7 days a week, with a target first reply within 15 minutes. You can reach a real person to change a schedule, raise a concern or ask for a replacement. For medical emergencies, always call 999 first.
Tell us at any time. We will speak with the caregiver and, if it is still not the right fit, arrange a replacement at no additional platform fee.
We currently serve the Klang Valley (Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Shah Alam, Klang, Cheras, Kajang, Puchong, Cyberjaya and Ampang), Penang and Johor Bahru. Outside these areas, leave your details and we will tell you if a caregiver is available near you.
Caregivers help with medication reminders, personal care, meals and mobility. Clinical procedures such as wound dressing, injections, NG tube feeding, urinary catheter care and suctioning are only performed by registered nurses on the platform.
Each caregiver sets an hourly or daily rate, which you see before booking. Love Care adds a 10% platform fee for the family and deducts a 10% platform fee from the caregiver's rate. Families and caregivers see the same breakdown on every booking.
No. There is no registration fee, no agency deposit and no lock-in contract. If a caregiver charges a transport fee, it is agreed and shown before you confirm.
You can pay by online banking (FPX), debit or credit card, or DuitNow QR. One-off sessions are billed per booking, and recurring plans are billed weekly.
Hourly care has a minimum of 4 hours per visit. Overnight care is booked in 12-hour shifts and live-in care is booked by the day.
Malaysian citizens and permanent residents aged 21 and above with caregiving experience or training, registered nurses with a valid APC, assistant and community nurses, and licensed physiotherapists.
Joining is free. There is no registration or training fee. We only charge a 10% platform fee on completed bookings, and it is shown on every case offer before you accept.
Set your working area, availability and the types of care you are comfortable with. Recurring plans with the same family every week go first to caregivers with strong reviews and reliable attendance. Many of our recurring plans run for months.
Every Friday, straight to your Malaysian bank account, for all sessions completed in the previous week. Each payout comes with a statement showing your rate, the platform fee and your net earnings.
No. You work as an independent freelancer. You choose your cases, set your rate within our care guidelines and manage your own schedule. You are responsible for your own income tax declarations, and we provide earnings statements to help.
Still have a question? Our coordinators are online 7:00am – 11:00pm, 7 days a week.
